  • Review week 52/2025

    Grateful

    • Over the holidays I got time for a longer, much needed resting period.

    Failure

    • Although knowing I needed the rest I still beat myself up for it because I’ve made nearly no progress with my study program assignments.

    Take Away/Doing Next

    • Keeping up relaxation routines while also trying to accept that I still need more time to rest.
    • Combining the last day of the year with the November/December 2025 evaluation. Also at the beginning of 2026 publishing a little review and evaluation of 2025 together with an outlook for 2026.
  • Review week 51/2025

    Grateful

    • I’m glad to have people in my life I can ask for advice and/or help.

    Failure

    • My responsibilities together with the upcoming deadlines are putting massive pressure on my shoulders.

    Take Away/Doing Next

    • Working steadily on my study assignments over the holidays while also taking some time off.
  • Review week 50/2025

    Grateful

    • Enjoyed an exhibition I wanted to visit for over a month.

    Failure

    • Had difficulty sleeping a few nights in a row this week and was nearly constantly tired.

    Take Away/Doing Next

    • Trying some relaxation exercises and putting out some relaxing fragrance before going to bed.
  • Review week 49/2025

    Grateful

    • I’m grateful for all the support I get during this trying and demanding time.

    Failure

    • Yet another incident at the office which left me completely drained resulting in the need for more sleep than usual because of sheer exhaustion.

    Take Away/Doing Next

    • Together with my colleague set priorities and focus on them before I leave the company.
  • Review week 48/2025

    Grateful

    • My ability to convey something that impacts my mental and/or physical health into something creative like a blog post.

    Failure

    • Yet another day of many at the office leaving me completely exhausted and drained of every ounce of energy.

    Take Away/Doing Next

    • Days like these are one reason why I’m quitting my job.
  • Review week 47/2025

    Grateful

    • My deepest gratitude to each and everyone of you for liking my blog and helping me hit the 200 mark. Thank you for your continued support and for being a part of this amazing journey ❤️
    • I’m grateful for all the support I get during this very busy time.

    Failure

    • Having technology that should but won’t work on different devices, thus adding extra steps just to continue where I left off while switching from laptop to mobile phone or vice versa.

    Take Away/Doing Next

    • Keep reading articles for my master’s thesis while balancing the increasing demands from my day job.
  • Review week 46/2025

    Grateful

    • Regardless of still feeling the effects of the sickness I was able to prepare some posts yet to come. I even wrote a short story.

    Failure

    • Because of me being sick I’m behind schedule with work on my master’s thesis.

    Take Away/Doing Next

    • Reconsidering priorities and reschedule accordingly.
  • Review week 45/2025

    Grateful

    • Despite being sick this week I was able to work on my assignments for short amounts of time.

    Failure

    • The effects of being sick with everything it entails.

    Take Away/Doing Next

    • Taking extra care of myself next week since I’m still recuperating.
  • Review week 44/2025

    Grateful

    • I’m thankful for all the support I got while I was finishing my master’s thesis research proposal.

    Failure

    • That there is no way to get my reMarkable device to connect with my Zotero account or even an easy way to import all my annotations from my reMarkable into my Zotero library.

    Take Away/Doing Next

    • Instead of reading articles for my study program on my reMarkable I’m switching to my phone where I can use the Zotero app for Android. This way I already have my annotations where I need them for continued work.
  • Review week 43/2025

    Grateful

    • To have persons in my life who understand the difficulties I’m dealing with on a daily basis and support me each in their own way.

    Failure

    • In the office I got again misgendered by a colleague whom I yet again corrected. Instead of apologising they started laughing and continued the misgendering.

    Take Away/Doing Next

    • I will continue standing up for myself and correct misgendering, especially in environments I plan to or have to stay in for a longer period of time.
    • Looking to become part of an environment in which my gender is acknowledged and accepted.
