  • hoarding haiku

    precious stones
    glittering and sparkling all around
    well guarded

    — treasure

    countless pages
    endless words and pictures
    ever growing

    — knowledge

  • surrealism

    do you want to come
    on a journey with me?

    to barren lands
    floating islands

    shadowed people
    long legged, stalking animals

    a lot of beans
    and crutches

    forgetting time
    and space

    just being in the moment
    enjoying the beauty of eternity

too have a look at the future
    forgetting the past

realising it is all just an illusion
    a trick of the mind

    ungraspable
and yet as real as you and me

  • dissipation

Do you feel the wind blowing?

Or is the air standing still?

    Are you standing still?

    Or are you going somewhere?

On which ground do you stand?

    Or on anything at all?

Do you see the sky above?

    Or below?

    Do you eat eggs?

    Or do you hatch them?

    Can you catch a butterfly?

    Or transform into one?

Can you tell me the time?

    Or has it already melted?

    How do you capture eternity?

    Or even a fleeting moment?

    Are you defining words?

Or are you merely tossing them aside?

    I don’t know your name.

    Do you know mine?

  • feeling the pressure

    too much thinking

    less feeling

    pressured

    to capture the day

    the impressions

    too fresh

    lingering in the mind

    clouding the judgement

    this fixation on writing something

    anything

    that fits the days theme

    ... ... ...

    wait a night

    let it sink in

    and then

look at it with fresh eyes

    mind unclouded

and a lot to write about

  • crawling

    crawling
    still crawling
    ever crawling
    never looking back
    not seeing ahead
    unchanging view
    how far did I crawl?
how much longer do I crawl?
    did I ever not crawl?
    what if I stop crawling?
    don't dare to stop crawling
need to crawl to the end
    I'm still crawling
    towards the end
    that will never come
  • fruity haiku

    sweet and juicy
a mix of yellow, red and green
    delightfully refreshing

    — fruit salad

    bed of flour
    carrying pearls of taste
    soft delight

    — fruity sponge cake

in cooperation with a rhyming snail

  • Dorfromantik: haiku

    tile by tile
    building beautiful landscapes
    in co-operation

    — Dorfromantik: The Board Game

    cherry blossoms
setting the theme for the terrain
    a second variant

    — Dorfromantik: Sakura

  • course

    Picture, picture on the wall.
    Tell me your secrets,
I want to know them all.
I can tell you tales from far away,
    From mysteries all around you.
I'll show you places beyond your imagination,
Hidden jewels right in front of you.
I take you to landscapes of dreams,
I teach you how to build them yourself.
You'll need to be open minded,
    Making new experiences.
Forge trough life with keen observation,
Take what is useful and discard the rest.
Try new things, learn from mistakes,
    Pay attention and act decisively.
Then someday when you look back
You'll hopefully be able to say:

This was a life lived to it’s fullest!

  • repetition

    getting up
    doing morning routine
    going to work
    working
    working more
    working still
    getting home
    eating dinner
    going to bed
    repeat
for at least 5 days a week
    for 40 to 50 years
  • in remembrance

    the blink of an eye
    forever frozen in time
    just went by
    never returning
    never the same
    only memory lingers
    tales are told
    songs are sung
    but moments fade away
    treasure your thoughts
    live your ideas
you never get the same chance again
